• Recently the Kerala State Government announced 14.5 % fat tax 
• India's First Green Rail Corridor.
• The railway department has launched India's first green rail corridor between rameshwaram and mana madurai.
• Trains running through this corridor will have bio toilets and also does not discharge toilet wastes in the tracks as like the other trains.
