1.ISRO set to launch backup satellite for IRNSS-1A
in August.
Indian Space Organisation has set to launch
backup satellite IRNSS-1H as replacement of IRNSS-1A, whose 3 atomic clock have
failed last year. ISRO Chairman A.S Kiran Kumar said, the launch will be in end
of August.

Indian Space Research Organisation has signed
Memorandum of understanding with Council of Scientific and Industrial Research
(CSIR)-National Physical Laboratory (NPL) for time and Frequency traceability
service.

service.
Kempegowda
International Airport in Bengaluru will
become the first airportto have a helicopter taxi service in India.
4.Giant Earth size storm spotted in Neptune.
Astronomers have observed a Giant Earth size
storm near Neptune’s equator. The Gigantic storm is about 9,000 km in length,
or one third the size of Neptune’s radius. It was spotted a dawn test conducted
in Hawaii Observatory, US.
5.India
signs loan agreement with AIIB for Financing Gujarat Rural Roads Project.
India
has signed a loan agreement with the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank
(AIIB) for financing Gujarat Ruarl Roads project worth of $329 M.
