1.Prime Minister Launches Saubhagya Scheme
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has launched the Rs
6,320 crore Pradhan Mantri Sahaj Bijili Har Ghar Yojana or “Saubhagya Scheme”
to ensure electrification to all the willing household of rural and urban in
the country by December 2018.

Prabhu, the minister for commerce and Industry has visited the Republic Korea
to participate in 7th Asia-Europe Economic Ministers meeting and to
3rd Joint ministerial review of India-Korea Comprehensive Economic
Partnership Agreement (CEPA).

Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) is an economic partnership between two
countries which involves not
only in reduction of tariff reduction but also covers the trade in Services and
investment and other economic partnership.
3.Government
to review free movement pact with Myanmar
Government
of India is reviewing the impact of a bilateral agreement regarding to allow
free movement of people with Myanmar, within 16 km of the Indo-Myanmar border.

professor Maryna viazovska to receive 2017 SASTRA Ramanujan prize.
Professor
Maryna Viazovska of Swiss Federal Institute of Technolgy, Lausanne, Switzerland
, has been selected for 2017 SASTRA
Ramanujan Prize for her contribution to number theory.
5.Rajiv
mehrishi takes over as CAG.
Rajiv
Mehrishi has been taken over as Comptroller and
Audit General of India.
