Opening Ceremony of First ever tri services joint exercise between India and Russia INDRA-2017 has been held at Vladivostok, Russia
About INDRA 2017:
- This the first ever tri services joint exercise between India, Russia INDRA-2017 will startedat Eastern Military District of Russia
- Previous Nine exercise, has been conducted by single service exercise, this is the first time all the three services (Navy, Army, Air Force) is involving.
- The exercise will help to boost the mutual confidence, inter-operability and sharing the best practices between India and Russia’s armed forces.
- INDRA Stands for IND-India and RA-Russia; it is an bi-annual military exercise conducting since 2003.
