1.Government approves signing important agreement under BRICS Interbank Cooperation mechanism
 Union Cabinet has given its nod for signing Interbank Local Currency credit Line Agreement and Cooperation Memorandum Relating to Credit Ratings by Exim Bank with the BRICS nation’s banks.

2.New species of snake discovered in Western Ghats.
Researchers have discovered a new species of non-venomous endemic snake “Aquatic Rhabdops” from the northern western Ghats near Goa. All the Rhabdops are  endemic to India.

3.Union Cabinet given its nod on “Cooperation in the field of Information, Communication and Media” between India and Ethiopia 
Union cabinet has given its nod on agreement between India and Ethiopia on “Cooperation in the field of Information, Communication and Media”.
            
4.Union Cabinet approves MoU between India and Belarus in the oil and gas sector. 
Union Cabinet has given its ex-post approval for  signing Memorandum of Understanding between India and Belarus in the field of  Oil and Gas

5.Russia and US cooperate to build first lunar station. 
Russia and US has agreed to cooperate on NASA led project to build the first Lunar space station with the objective to send humans to Mars. 


6.September 27 -World Tourism day 
World Tourism Day is celebrated on 27 September every year, with aim to create awareness of the importance of tourism and its social, political, cultural and economic value. This year it was celebrated on the theme Sustainable tourism – a tool for development.

8.Retirement age increased to Central Govt doctors.
