1.Nobel prize
in economics 2017
The 49th Nobel Prize in
Economics awarded to Richard H. Thaler from University of Chicago ,U.S "for
his contributions to behavioural economics". Richard H.Thaler has combined psychology with economics
to better understand human Decision making on Economics.
2.PM launches
Intensified Mission Indradhanush.
Prime
Minister Narendra Modi launched the Intensified Mission Indradhanush, with aim
to accelerate the progress towards achieving full immunization coverage on Urban
Areas and other low immunization coverage region.
3.NLC shelved Sirkazhi Thermal Power
project.
NLC India limited (formerly known as
Neyveli lignite corporation limited) has shelved the Sirkazhi Thermal power
project which has a capacity of 3,9600MW.
NLC also said that it will implement
2 thermal power project of 3,400 MW capacity in Neyveli and Thoothukudi to
compensate the loss.
4.UAV base
shifted to Bastar, Chhattisgarh.
The Unnamed Aerial Vehicles (UAVs)
has been shifted to Naxal botbed of Bastar in Chattisgarh, to provide security forces
an aerial surveillance to conduct anti-Moist operations.
The Fourth
International Conference on Dialogue of Civilization will be hosting by the
Archaeological Survey of India, Ministry of Culture, in collaboration with
Natinal Geographic society from 8th to 15th Oct at Delhi,
Gandhinagar, and Dholavira.
The main
objective of the conference is to educate the public about the five ancient
literate civilization of the world, Egypt, South Asia, Mesopotamia, china and
Mesoamerca .
The
conference was initiated by National Geographic Society in 2013, first conference of this series was
held in Guatemala in 2013, 2nd in Turkey and 3rd in China
2015.
