1. Rajasthan increased OBC quota. 

Rajasthan Assembly has been increased Other backward class quota from 21 % to 26 %. It has now increased the reservation to reservation to 54 % which is higher than the 50% ceiling mandated by the Supreme Court.

2.Study says 500 MW of offshore wind capacity possible in South Tamil Nadu 

The latest study conducted by Tamil Nadu Generation and Distribution Corporation (Tangedco)has said that 500MW of Offshore wind energy can generate near Manapad, Punnakayl and Thoothukudi by 2021-22.

3.India Sri Lanka singed on housing project .

India and Sri Lanka has signed agreement that India to build 1,200 houses in the southern port city Hambantota.  

4.Vigilance awareness week observed from 30^th Oct to 4^th Nov.

The Central Vigilance Commission has decided that this year’s Vigilance awareness week to be observed from 30^th October to 4^th November 2017 with the theme of “My Vision-Corruption Free India”
