1.Nitin Gadkari digitally flags off RORO Ship from
Chennai Port to Bangladesh.
Union
Minister Nitin Gadkari has digitally flagged off RORO Ships carrying trucks
from Chennai port to Mongla
port, Bangladesh. This will help to save the travelling time by 15 to 20 days.
2.Gujarat will resend anti-terror bill
for President’s Assent.
Gujarat will resend the Gujarat
Control of Terrorism and Organised Crime (GCTOC) Bill, 2015, for President’s
assent. The bill authorises police officers to tap phones and submit the
conversations as evidence in court.
The bill was earlier rejected by
former President APJ Abdul Kalam in
2004, Pratibha Patel in 2008,2009 and Pranab Mukherjee in 20016.
3.India in Top 100 in ease of doing business.
India ranked 100th position
in ease of doing business in world World Bank's Doing Business Report. Last year
India ranked 130.
4.Scientist found sunscreen snow
falling on hot planet
Astronomers
using Hubble Space Telescope has detected titanium dioxide (ingredient in most
sunscreen lotions) in the atmospheric ‘snow’ of the blistering hot exoplanet
Kepler-13Ab.

The red-headed vulture,

protection list. The decision was taken in convention held in Manila, Philippines
by Conservation of Migratory Species of Wild Animals. The next convention will
held in India by 2020
