India has signed $119M IBRD(International
Bank for Reconstruction and Development) loan agreement with World bank for “Odisha
Higher Education Programme for Excellence & Equity (OHEPEE) Project”.
The main aim
of the project is to improve the quality of student’s equitable access to
institution for higher studies and enhancing the governance of higher education
system.
About IBRD:
It is an international financial institution,
which is part of first of five member institution that comprise of World bank.
It gives loan to the middle-income developing countries.
