1.India’s Fiscal deficit hits 91.3% of
FY18 target.
India’s Fiscal deficit hits 91.3% of
the budget target at the end of first half of the current fiscal between April
and September which is mainly due to raise in Expenditure.
About Fiscal Deficit:
Fiscal deficit is difference between
the total revenue and total expenditure of the Government. Exclude money from borrowing while calculating
fiscal deficit.
2.Indian Air
force contingent to Participate in Ex Blue Flag-17.
Indian Ari
force contingent is to participate in Ex Blue Flag exercise held in Israel. It
is an Bi-annual multilateral exercise
with the objective to strengthen military cooperation among participating
countries.
3.Karnataka to
gets first women police chief – Neelamani

Karnataka
has set to get First women Police chief Neelamani N Raju , she will replace Director General and Inspector
General of Police Rupak Kumar Dutta.
4.India to buy
111 navy Helicopters.
India’s
Defense Acquisition Council (DAC), has given its nod to buy 111 Navy helicopters for Indian Navy. In this
16 helicopters will buy from foreign countries in flyaway condition and
remaining to be built in India.
