1.Government
given nod for GST-
National Anti-profiteering Authority.
Union Cabinet has given its nod for
creating National Anti-profiteering Authority under GST to make sure benefits of
the reduced GST price will passed to the Consumers.
Anti-profiteering
measures will provide an institutional mechanism to ensure that the benefits of
input tax credits and reduced GST rates on goods or services will flow to
consumers. If consumer feels that rate cut benefits is not passed to them, they
can complain to the NAA
2.India, Bangladesh
Joint Exercise Sampriti 2017 concludes.
India Bangladesh Joint Exercise SAMPRITI
2017 concluded at Insurgency & Jungle Warfare School, Vairengte in
Mizoram.
It is the 7th
exercise in the SAPRITI Series, with aim to strengthen and broaden the aspects
of interoperability and cooperation between both countries army.
3.Anti-superstition bill passed in
Karnataka assembly.
Karnataka Assembly has passed the
Anti-Superstitition bill in assembly to prevent
and eradicate "inhuman evil practices"
4.India to
Host Global Conference on Cyber Space 2017
India is going to host Global
Conference on Cyber Space (GCCS), in the field of Cyber Space and related
issues on 23rd and 24th Nov’17, at Aerocity, New Delhi.
5.Earth sized planet spotted with mild
climate.
The
Earth-sized planet named Ross 128b, spotted with Mild climate and peaceful parent star just 11 light
years away from earth. It could be closed world to Earth for providing comfortable life.
