1.India
moved up one position in per capita GDP
India has
moved one position up to 126th place in terms of per capita GDP of
countries. India has per
capita GDP of $7,710 in 2017 comparing to $6,690 last year. Qatar remains first
with per capita GDP of $1,24,930.
It was published in the data which
is part of latest International Monetary Fund (IMF) report of World Economic
Outlook. It ranks the countries in terms on per capita GDP based purchasing
power parity (PPP).

Congress of Military Medicine Begins in India for First Time.
The 42nd
world congress of the International committee of Military Medicine (ICMM)
begins in India for First Time. It is organised by the Armed forces Medical
services with the theme of Military Medicine in Transition: Looking Ahead.”
ICMM is an
international inter-governmental organisation located at Brussels in Belgium. It
is founded in 1921 with the
aim to strengthen the cooperation between Armed forces in Health Services.
3.Indian Army set world record of
riding 50 men in single Motorcycle.
Indian Army Set a world record for
riding 50 men in single Motorcycle at the Indian Air force base in Yelahanka,
Bengaluru.
4.IOC to set
up India’s first e-vehicle charging station.
Indian Oil
cooperation has set up India’s first E-vehicle Charging Station at Nagpur in collaboration with OLA.
5.Paes, purav
wins challenger title in US.
India’s Leander paes and Purav Raja wins
Challenger title in Champaign US defeating Ruan Roelofse of South Africa and
Joe Salisbury of Britain by 6-3, 6-7 (5), 10-5.
