1.World Immunization Day 2017 – November 10 

November 10 is celebrated as World Immunization Day every year. It is celebrated to create awareness among people about the importance of getting vaccination in time to protect against vaccine preventable diseases.

It helps child from life threatening diseases and prevent spread of diseases to others.

2.The Organic World Congress 2017, Greater Noida. 

Union Agriculture and farmers minister inaugurated the 3 day Organic World Congress 2017 in Greater Noida with the goal to move Organic India to Organic world.

The International Federation of Organic Farming Movements and OAFI are organizing the event will showcase 4,000 varieties of seeds from 55 seeds group of Indian states.

It is organized once in every three years, last edition took place in Istanbul, Turkey in 2014.

3.Connectivity projects between India and Bangladesh 

The Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his Bangladeshi  counterpart  Sheikh Hasina,  has flagged off connectivity projects between India and Bangladesh including 2^nd  Bhairab and Titas Railway Bridges,International Rail Passenger Terminus at Chitpur in Kolkata and inaugural run of the Bandhan Express between Kolkata and Khulna.

4.Gahirmatha Sanctuary for Olive Ridley's. 

Olive Ridley turtles has started arriving for mating in large number to Gahirmatha Sanctuary in Kendrapara District of Odisha .
