157 Alien Invasive animal species has been listed first by Zoological Survey of India. These kinds of species pose a serious threat to the native species and biodiversity, it also pose huge threat on agriculture

Some of the Aliens species and its impact:

• ZSI said that out of 157 species, 58 found in both fresh water  and land an 99 found in Marine ecosystem
• In Marine the Genus Ascidia accounts for largest share and  in Land and fresh water Antropods accounts for largest share among Aliens species.
•  The most commonly found alien species is African apple snail (which destroys several native species) found across India , Papaya Mealy Bug ( destroys Papaya) found in Tamil Nadu, Assam, and West Bangal, Cotton Mealy Bug (destroys Cotton, Amazon Sailfin catfish (destroys fish in wetlands of Kolkata)
