1.India re-elected in International Maritime Council
India has been re-elected as member of International
Maritime council for another 2 years from 2018-2019 under “B” category at the IMO’s 30th session
of assembly held in London.
2.Iran opened First
phase of Chabahar port
Iran
President opened the first
phase of Chabahar Port in the Sistan-Baluchestan province in Iran. The chabahar port now the primary gateway for
India to reach Afghanistan and Central Asia. The Chabahar port has been
developed in Iran with the help of India.
3.No BS IV vehicles registration after June 2020.
Union Government has came out with a draft policy that no Bharat Stage IV vehicles
registration after June 2020.
4.Navy Day – December 4.
Indian Navy celebrated a Navy Day in December 4 as a tribute to the achievements
made by Indian Navy during the 1971 war against Pakistan.
5.Salil S Parekh
appointed as Infosys
CEO.
Salil S Parekh has appointed as new Managing Director and
CEO of Infosys, he will be
replacing Vishal Sikka.
