1.Prime Minister Commissioned INS Kalvari into Indian Navy .

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has commissioned Scorpene-class submarine INS Kalvari into the Indian Navy in Mumbai. This is first of the six submarines to be inducted in Indian Navy which was built by Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders ltd,Mumbai.

2.India, Japan, Australia agree for cooperation on Maritime Security. 

The 4^th India, Japan and Australia meeting held in New Delhi. Foreign secretary S Jaishankar hosted the meeting with his counterpart from Japan and Australia.

They have discussed about the greater cooperation on Maritime Security, domain awareness and disaster response capabilities in Indo-Pacific Region.

  

3.RBI said that Merchant discount rate on cards cannot be abolished. 

Reserve Bank of India has said that Merchant Discount rate on Debit or Credit cards cannot be Abolished.
