1.DRDO successfully test fired
interceptor missile.
As part of India's Ballistic
Missile defense system, Defence Research and Development Organisation of India
has successfully test fired Supersonic inteceptor missile from Abdul Kalam Island
off the Odisha coast.
Intercepor missile successfully
destroyed the incoming ballistic missile launhced from LC-III complex of
Integrated Test Range, Chandipur. This is the
third test carried out in this year. It has a capacity to destroy any
ballistic missile within 30km altittude
of Earth Atmosphere
2.Center launched 100 crore project
to tackle stubble burning.
Environment ministry launches Rs
100 crore regional project on ‘Climate Resilience Building among Farmers
through Crop Residue Management under the National Adaptation Fund for Climate
Change (NAFCC)to tackle Stubble burning which impact on climate change. The
first phase of project will be implemented in states of Punjab, Haryana, Uttar
Pradesh and Rajasthan.
Initially Farmers will be encourage
to adopt alternative method by Creating awareness , capacity builiding
activities which would enhance their income and also which diversify therir
livelihood option.
The reasoan for buning residues
in filed is due to increased mechanization, decreasing livestock, long time for
composting and no economically viable alternate use of residues.
Buring the residue not only
impacts global warming it also impact on air quality, soil health and human
health. Burning residue is one of the main reason for poor air quality in
National Capital.
3.$40
Million loan agreement signed between India and World Bank for UP Tourism
development.
India
has signed loan Agreement with the World Bank for $40 Million for Uttar Pradesh
Pro-Poor Tourism Development Project with the aim to increase tourism related
benefits for local communities
4.Gadkari to flags off first cargo transportation through NW 2 .
Union
Minister Nitin Gadkari has flagged off First Cargo Transportation carrying
cement through National Waterways -2 on Brahmaputra.
It
will travel from Pandu to Dubri which will help to save 150,000 tonnes km of
road transportation per trip and 300 km of road travel.
Waterways
which aim to reduce the logistics cost, especially one horse power can move 4000
kg on waterways comparing 150 kg on road and 500 kg on rail.
Also
1 liter of fuel can move 105 ton per km in waterways comparing 25 ton per km on
road and 85 on Rail.

to classify video games addiction as mental health condition..
World
Health Organisation is going to classify Video games addiction as mental health
disorder on 2018 because studies says 7 per cent of population has serious
health issues due to Video game addiction and internet.
