1.Global Entrepreneurship Summit, 2017.

Prime Minister NArendra Modi inaugurated the Global entreprenuruship Summit 2017 held in Hyderabad.

2.B.N. Sharma appointed as Chairman of the National Anti-profiteering Authority under GST. 

Government of India has appointed B.N Sharma as Chairman of the National Anti-Profiteering Authority under GST.

About National Anti-Profiteering Authority. 

National Anti-profiteering Authority under GST is created early this month to make sure benefits of the reduced GST price will passed to the Consumers. 

Anti-profiteering measures will provide an institutional mechanism to ensure that the benefits of input tax credits and reduced GST rates on goods or services will flow to consumers. If consumer feels that rate cut benefits is not passed to them, they can complain to the NAA

3.Highlights of IFFI 2017. 

International Film Festival of India 2017 has held at Goa.

4.Alappuzha gets recognised by UNEP on Solid Waste. 

United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) has recognised Alappuzha as one of the five cities in world for solving the problem of solid waste.

Other Cities are Osaka  in Japan, Ljubljana in Slovenia, Penang in and Cajicá in Colombia.
