1.Cabinet
given its nod for 100% FDI in single brand retail trading through automatic
route.
Union Cabinet has given its nod for
100 Percent Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) in single brand retail
trading through automatic route. It will improve the ease of doing
business in the country.
2.TN Government
decided for Direct Election to Mayor and chairpersons.
Tamil Nadu Government has decieded for direct election
to elect the Mayor of Corporation and
Chairpersons of Muncipalities. Earlier we have indirect election for Mayor and
chairpersons.

Malhotra a First women lawyer to appointed as SC Judge.
The Supreme Court collegium has
picked Indu Malhotra a First women lawyer to be recommended for appointment of judge in Supreme
court. The collegium headed by Chief Justice of India Dipak Mishra.
4.Former Judge
Dhingra to head SIT on 1984 riots.
Supreme Court appointed former High
court judge S.N. Dhingra, to head the its
Special Investigation Team (SIT), to further investigate 1984 anti-Sikh riots.
5.Israeli
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to visit India.
