1.India
registers decline child mortality rate as per SRS Study release.
As per the latest Sample
Registration System (SRS) study release, India shows a significant decline in under-five
child mortality (U5MR). It has register 4 points decline from 43 per 1000 in
2015 to 39 per 1000 in 2016.
As per the data most of the states
has shown good progress in reducing the U5MR except Delhi, Chhattisgarh and
Uttarakhand which shows increase in U5MR and there is no change in Telangana
2..ISRO Successfully launches 31
Satellites.
Indian Space
Research Organisation has successfully launches 31 satellitesusing its launch
vehicle PSLV –C40(Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle ) from Sriharikota in Andhra
Pradesh.
It carried 3
satellites of India and 28 satellites from other countries. Indian Satellites
contains 710 kg of Cartostat-2 series for Earth observation ,11kg
Nano-satellite and 100 kg Microsatellite.
3.Fourth
ASEAN-India Agriculture Ministers Meeting held in New Delhi.
The Fourth ASEAN-India Ministerial Meeting
on Agriculture and Forestry held in New Delhi. The meeting aims to enhance production and
productivity of crops , livestock , fisheries by joint research , development of better technologies and exchange of technologies, also natural
resources management and more.
The 5th ASEAN-India Ministerial Meeting
on Agriculture and Forestry will be held in Brunei Darussalam in 2019
4.Government launches Short Film making
competition on ‘SAUBHAGYA‘ Scheme.
Union Government has launched the Short
film making competition on Pradhan Mantri Har Ghar Sahaj Bijli Yojana
(SAUBHAGYA) scheme, with the aim to create awareness about the SAUBHAGYA
Scheme.
5.Saksham-2018
conducted by Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas.
Saksham
(Sanrakshan Kshamta Mahotsav) is an annual event conducted by ministry of
Petroleum and Natural Gas of India along with other oil and Gas companies of
the state government to create awareness on fuel conservation and efficient
uses of petroleum products through people centric activities.
