1.“Healthy States, Progressive India” Report 

• Kerala topped the NITI Ayog’s  report titled “Healthy States, Progressive India in the field of Healthcare.
• Punjab ranked second , Tamil Nadu ranked third in the ranking and Uttar Pradesh ranked bottom among the big states.
• Report was launched by NITI Aayog CEO Amitabh Kant 

2.IAAMS At INS Garuda 

• Integrated Automatic Aviation Meteorological Systems (IAAMS) has been inaugurated At INS Garuda ,Kochi Kerala.
• This is the fourth air station installed with IAAMS systems.
• It is an ambitious project of Navy to modernise meteorological infrastructure of 9 Naval Air Station.
• It is fitted with state-of-the-art Meteorological Sensors including Radar Vertical Wind Profiler, Transmissometer, Ceilometer and Automatic Weather Observation System which wil help to predict accurate weather forecasting.
• First IAAMS installed in INS Rajali (Arakonam, Tamil Nadu) in March 2017, second in INS Parundu (Uchipuli, Ramanathapuram,Tamil Nadu) in August 2017, 

3.Swadhar Greh Scheme. 

• Currently 559 Swadhar Greh scheme functioning across India with 17231 beneficiaries.
• It is administer under Ministry of Women and Child Development for relief and rehabilitation of women in difficult circumstances like sexual harassment.

4.SHAKTI. 

Union Government has given its nod for new policy known as Scheme for Harnessing and Allocating Koyala (Coal) Transparently in India (SHAKTI) for future coal llingaes in a transparent manner to consumers of power sector. 

5.Swachh Bharat Sanitation Park 

• Swachh Bharat Sanitation Park inaugurated at New Delhi..
• It will showcase various options and brief description related to toilet technologies and solid and liquid waste management technologies. 

6.Scientist grows human eggs to full maturity. 

• Scientists has successfully grown human eggs fully for the first time in laboratory from the earliest stages in ovarian tissue to full maturity at the University of Edinburgh, UK.
• It was published in journal the journal Molecular Human Reproduction. 

7.Indra Nooyi 

Indra Nooyi appointed as First Independent women director of International Cricket Council.

8.Abhilasha Kumari . 

Abhilasha Kumari has sworn in as first women Chief Justice of Manipur High Court.
