1.Loan Agreement with New Development Bank 

• India Signs 2^nd Loan Agreement with New Development Bank for $100 Million for Rajasthan Water Sector Restructuring Project for Desert Areas
• The Aim of agreement is rehabilitate the 678 km long Indira Gandhi Canal system to prevent seepage, conserve water, and enhance water use efficiency.
• New Development Bank is multilateral development bank established by BRICS Nation on July 2014.
• New Development bank headquartered in Shanghai, China.
• The Current President is K.V Kamath.

2.Paschim Lehar 

•  Tri-service maritime exercise named Paschim Lehar held in western coast, with the aim to build interoperability.
• Around 40 ships, submarines, fighter aircrafts of western Naval Command, units of eastern Naval commands, Indian Army, Air Force, Coast guard  participated in Paschim Lehar

3.Venezuela and Libya suspended on UN Vote 

• Venezuela and Libya suspended from voting in UN for not paying its due.
• It was the third time in 3 years for getting suspended. 

4.Sanjiv Bajaj 

• Sanjiv Bajaj is named EY Entrepreneur of the Year 2017.
• He will represent India at the EY World Entrepreneur of the Year award (WEOY) in Monte Carlo in June 2018. 

5.KP Sharma Oli

 KP Sharma Oli sworn in as Nepal’s new Prime Minister.

6.Cyril Ramaphosa 

Cyril Ramaphosa Sworn in as South Africa’s new  President.

7.SCO Summit 2018 

China to Host 2018 Shanghai Cooperation organisation summit at Qingdao in June’2018.
