1.Watan ko Jano.

Watan ko Jano is an Youth Exchange programme2017-18 to give exposure to the youth and children of Jammu and Kashmir about the cultural and socio-economic development taking place in other parts of India.

2.Tuidimjang Dam, 

• Myanmar is building a Tuidimjang Dam on the Twigem river, which flows from Manipur to Myanmar.
• The Khantung village inhabitants are feared about submergence of village if the dam comes up, and also make them to relocate and rehabilitate.
• Khantung village is in Manipur, inhabited by Thadou Tribes.

3.Hyperloop

• The Virgin Group signed an agreement to Maharashtra government for linking Pune to Mumbai  through Hyperloop transportation.
• Hyperloop transportation will reduce Pune to Mumbai travel time by 25 minutes 

4.Roger Federer 

• Roger Federer becomes oldest World number one in Tennis at the age of 36.
• He achieved this feat after beating Robin Haase Rotterdam's ABN Amro World Tennis Tournament.
• Federer has beaten the record of Andre Agassi at age 33, who becomes world No 1

5.B.Soumya 

B.Soumya wins gold in 20km Category 5th National race walking championships.

6.Icon of Chennai award

Icon of Chennai award given to Indian Cricketer R Ashwin in the event held by Rotary Internatioanl.
