1.India Successfully test fired Nuclear Capable Agni-1 Missile.
  • India Successfully test fired short range Surface to surface nuclear capable ballistic Agni-1 Missile.
  • It was test fired from Abdul Kalam Island (Wheeler Island), Odisha.
  • It has striking range of 700 km.
  • It was inducted in Indian Army in 2004. 

2.New Consumer Protection Bill, 2018 introduced in the Lok Sabha. 
  • Government has introduced new consumer protection bill 2018 in Lokh sabha to establish new executive agency called Central Consumer Protection Authority (CCPA).
  • The Agency will deal with unfair trade practices and misleading advertisement by manufacturers. 
3.Bangladesh, Bhutan , Nepal to take part in India’s Tiger Census. 
  • First time Bangladesh, Bhutan and Nepal is taking part in India’s Tiger Census.
  • Census take place once in 4 years, last census in 2014 reveals of 2,226 tigers in India.               

4.Arunachal Pradesh CM Laid Foundation stone for Rhododendron Park. 
  • Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu laid foundation stone for Rhododendron park in Tawang.
  • The objective of the park is to conserve Rhodo Species.
  • Once Tawang district has more than 100 species of Rhododendron but it has reduced to 50 species due to construction activities. 

5.Shravanabelagola ceremony begins in Hassan District, Karnataka. 
  • Shravanabelagoal Cermmony begins in Hassan District ,Karnataka.
  • Gommateshwara Bahubali statue at Shravanabelagola is one of the important tirthas in Jainism also an important pilgrimage destination.
  • Chandragupta Mauryua has believed to be died in this place. 

6.SpaceX to launchs world’s most powerful rocket – Falcon Heavy. 
SpaceX has successfully launched World’s most powerful rocket Falcon Heavy in space.

7.Kathakali maestro Madavoor Vasudevan  died. 
  • Kathakali maestro Madavoor Vasudevan Nair has died while performing at Agasthyacodu Mahadeva Temple, Anchal.
  • He is a recipient of Padma Bhusan.
