Phillipines has given official notification to United Nation for its intention to withdraw from International Criminal court.
The decision was taken after ICC has opened probe against 1000 of judicial killing taken place after war on drugs launched by Philippines president Rodrigo Duterte.
About ICC
- International Criminal court is an international tribunal was established in 1998 and came into force in July 2002.
- It headquarters is at Hague, Netherlands.
- Currently it has 123 Members ,
- Last year Burundi become the first country to leave ICC.
- India is not member of ICC
