1.Trafficking
of Persons (Prevention, Protection and Rehabilitation) Bill, 2018
- Union Cabinet has given its nod for introduction of Trafficking of Persons (Prevention, Protection and Rehabilitation) Bill, 2018 in Parliament.
- This bill will address one of the most pervasive yet invisible crimes affecting vulnerable persons particularly children and women.
2.Anti -Tank
Guided Missiles (ATGM) NAG
- Anti-Tank Guided Missiles (ATGM) NAG were successfully flight-tested in desert conditions.
- It is developed by Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO).
- With this test all the trails has been completed and it is now ready for induction.
3.LAMITYE 2018,
- India and Seychelles people army’s 8th joint military exercise named LAMITYE (means friendship) taking place at Mahe Island, Seychelles.
- The aim of exercise is to develop the interoperability between two armies in fighting counter-insurgency and counter-terrorist operations in semi urban environment under the United Nations (UN) charter.
4.Pakistan in
grey list of FATF
- Pakistan to be included in grey list of Financial Action Task Force (FATF) from June.
- Including in Grey list which means the country which not taken enough step to counter money laundering and terrorist financing.
5.Aviation
Multi Skill Development Centre
India’s
first Aviation Multi skill development centre has been launched in Chandigarh.
- Roger Federar won the 2018 laureas sports award and become the most decorated winner in the history of Laureus World Sports Awards with six statuettes.
- Serena Williams won the Sportswoman of the Year Award.
