1.CJI Impeachment. 

• Seven Opposition Parties serve notice of impeachment of Chief Justice of India Dipak Misra accusing him on ground of serious misbehaviour and misusing authority.
• The opposition parties handed over the notice of impeachment to Chairman of Rajya Sabha M Venkaiah Naidu with signatures of 71 MPs of Rajya Sabha.
• Article 124 (4) of constitution deals with procedure of removal of Judges of Supreme Court including CJI

2.Swell Waves. 

Indian National Centre for Ocean Information Services (INCOIS) Hyderabad, forecasted that India’s coasts will experience the high energy Swell waves in couple of days.

What is Swell Waves? 

Swell Waves are collection of waves which forms and travel hundreds of miles away from the sea due to winds rather than waves formed by local winds. 

3.Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting 

Common Wealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) summit held in London, United Kingdom with the theme “Towards a Common Future” 

4.e-Vidhan Project 

• A new office of Central project monitoring unit for  e-Vidhan project has been inaugurated in Parliament house.
• e-Vidhan mission mode project aims to make the functioning of state legislature of in India paperless

5.E-court fee payment

• E-Court Fee payment has been introduced in Madras high court.
• This is the first court in South India and 8^th in the country to introduce e-Court Fee payment.

6.Super Cup 2018 Foot ball tournament.
