1.India-Wiesbaden Conference 2018 

• India –Wiesbaden Conference 2018 held in New Delhi hosted by Ministry of external Affairs in cooperation with Government of Germany and United Nations Office for Disarmament Affairs (UNODA).
• The title of the conference is “Securing Global Supply Chains through Government-Industry Partnerships towards Effective Implementation of UNSC Resolution 1540”

2.DARPAN-PLI App 

• DIGITAL ADVANCEMENT OF RURAL POST OFFICE FOR A NEW INDIA (DARPAN) was launched by Department of posts.
• DARPAN-PLI app launched with aim to achieve total digitisation of postal operations in India.
• It will to helps to connect all 1.29 lakh Rural Branch Post Offices in India to enable them to do online Postal and Financial Transactions.

3.World heritage day 

• April 18^th is celebrated as World Heritage day across the world to create awareness about Heritage among communities.
• The theme of this year is ‘Heritage for Generations’.        

4.Win-Win Partnership with Sweden. 

India and Sweden has signed a Joint action plan and an innovation partnership with aim to build a win-win partnership between both countries.

           

5.Pulitzer award 2018 for Public service 

The New York Times and The New Yorker won the Pulitzer for public service
