1. E-way Bill System
- E-way bill system for interstate movement of goods has been implemented across India on April 1 2018.
- Till now 10,96,905 taxpayers have registered on e-Way Bill Portal which helps to curb tax evasion and improve revenue.
2.Rupashree
scheme
- West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee launched a scheme Rupashree .
- The aim of this scheme is to which provide one time financial support of Rs 25,000 to the marriages of Poor Girls.
- ISRO had lost its contact with Communication satellite GSAT-6A, which is launched recently.
- It was launched in Geosynchronous Transfer Orbit(GTO) by India's Geosynchronous Satellite Launch Vehicle (GSLV-F08).
- GSAT -6A is an communication satellite designed to provide mobile communication service via multi beam coverage.
4.BS-VI fuel.
- New Delhi becomes the first city to roll-out the Bharat State –VI fuel in the country.
- The aim of this roll out is to curb the raising level of air pollution.
- The difference between existing BS-IV and current BS-VI is presence of Sulphur.
- The current BS-VI will release 80% less sulphur comparing to BS-IV, from 50ppm to 10 ppm (Parts per million)
5.Multi Modal
Logistic Park
- Multi modal Logistic park has been inaugurated at Balli station near Madgaon, Goa.
- It helps to reduce the time as well as cost of transportation.
6.Tiangong-1:
China’s
space lab Tiangong-1 re-enter Earth’s atmosphere and fell in middle of south Pacific
Sea.
