1.Ruthenium (Ru): 

• A University of Minnesota-led research discovered the Fourth element having  magnetic properties at room temperature named Ruthenium (Ru)
• The other 3 elements which having magnetic properties at room temperature are iron (Fe), cobalt (Co), and nickel (Ni). 

2.Gaj Yatra 

• The Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change and the Wildlife Trust of India (WTI) has launched Gaj Yatra in Garo Hills of Meghalaya.
• Gaj Yatra is nationwide campaign with the aim to protect the elephant and its habitat.
• This year Gaj Yatra aim to secure 100 passages for Elephant across the country for safe passage. 

3.India, World Bank sign $21.7 million loan agreement 

• India and World Bank has signed $21.7 Million loan agreement for Strengthening of Public Financial Management in Rajasthan .
• The Project aims to enhance improved Budget execution, accountability and greater efficiency in Revenue Administration. 

4.Digital Health Initiative 

World health Organisation has adopted the resolution on Digital Health Initiative brought by India in its 71^st World health Assembly in Geneva. 

5.Management of Home of Widow’s 

• Government of India signed memorandum of understanding with government of Uttar Pradesh for management of Home of Widows at sunrakh bangar, Vrindavan, Uttar Pradesh.
• Government has constructed this shelter for home for widows with a 1000 capacity.
