1.GOBAR-DHAN Scheme launched 

• Swachh Bharat Mission Launches the GOBAR (Galvanizing Organic Bio-Agro Resources)-DHAN scheme at the National Dairy Research Institute (NDRI) Auditorium, Karnal, Haryana.
• Gobardhan Yojana is the scheme to convert the cattle dung and solid waste into manure and bio gas.
• The aim of the scheme is to ensure cleanliness in village and generate energy from converting solid waste into compost and biogas 

2.Harimau Shakti 2018 

• India and Malaysia joint military exercise Harimau Shakti 2018 begins in Malaysia.
• Exercise aims to build cooperation and coordination between both armed forces.

3.IRDAI New Chairman. 

Subhash Chandra Khuntia is appointed as the new chairman of the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDAI).

4.India’s 14 cities in World’s 20 most polluted cities list. 

• 14 Indian Cities figured in a list of 20 most polluted cities in world 2016,in latest data released by WHO.
• It was calculated in term of PM2.5 levels.
• 14 cities are Delhi, Kanpur, Faridabad, Gaya, Patna, Lucknow, Agra, Muzaffarpur, Srinagar, Gurgaon, Jaipur, Patiala ,Jodhpur  and Varanasi. 

5. Exercise Vijay Prahar 

Indian Army’s South Western Command are engaged in exercise “Vijay Prahar” to fine tune Army’s jointmanship with Indian Air force at Suratgarh, Rajasthan. 

6.InSight -  to study deep interior of Mars.

NASA to launch InSight lander, the first mission to study deep interior of Mars.
