1.SAMARTH.

• Union Textile Minister Smriti Irani Headed the Stakeholders meeting on SAMARTH Scheme held on New Delhi
• SAMARTH scheme is launched by Ministry of Textile with the objective to develop skills of youth of country to get employment and income in textile sector.

2.National Wind-Solar Hybrid Policy. 

• Ministry of New and Renewable energy has issued a National Wind- Solar Hybrid policy.
• It aim to provide a framework for promotion of large grid connected wind-solar Photo voltaic hybrid system for efficient utilization of transmission infrastructure and land.

3.Mountaineering Expedition to Mt. Bhagirathi-II. 

• Director General of Military Training flagged of Indian Army Women officer Mountaineering Expedition to Mt. Bhagirathi-II .
• The team consists of 9 women officers , planning to set a new world record by practising yoga at 21000ft on Yoga Day.
• Mt.Bhagirathi-II(6512 metres) is located in Garhwal Himalayas in Gangotri National Park, Uttarakhand. 

4.Rajyavardhan Rathore 

Rajyavardhan Rathore has taken charge as Information and Broadcasting minister by replacing Smriti Irani . 

5.Nikkei Asia Prize. 

Nikkei Asia Prize given to Sulabh International founder Dr Bindeshwar Pathak for his contribution to  development of Asia.

6.TN Girls national Junior basket ball champions. 

Tamil Nadu Girls wins the National Junior Basket Ball Championship beating Kerala.
