• Ministry of Tribal Affairs proposed to expand Van Dhan Vikas Kendras in Tribal district across India.
• Van Dhan Vikas Kendras established to provide skill up gradation and capacity building training and setting up of primary processing and value addition facility for the tribals depends of Minor Forest Produce (MFP).
• Van Dhan Vikas Kendras was first established in Bijapur, District of Chhattisgarh.
• The Van Dhan Vikas Kendras will play an important role in improving Socio-economic development of tribal involved in collection of Minor forest produce(MFP).
