1.International Round Table Conference on “Data for New India’’ 

• The Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation will organise 2 day International Round Table Conference on “Data for New India’’ at New Delhi.
• The aim of the conference is to identify innovation ideas for improving the statistical system of India.  

2.17th World Sanskrit Conference. 

Union Human Resource Development minister Prakash Javadekar to inaugurate 17^th World Sanskrit Conference to be held in Vancouver, Canada.

3.6^th biennial World Cities Summit. 

6^th Biennial World Cities Summit to be held in Singapore with the theme  “Liveable & Sustainable Cities: Embracing the Future through Innovation and Collaboration”.

4.Satyarup Siddhanta 

• Satyarup Siddhanta becomes the 2^nd Indian to scale world’s highest volcano in the world -Mt Ojos Del Salada (6893m).
• The First Indian to scale the Mt Ojps Del Salada was  Malli Mastan Babu.

5.Global Housing Construction Technology Challenge. 

Union Housing and Urban Affairs Ministry is going to launch “Global Housing Construction Technology Challenge” as part of  Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Urban with the aims to accelerate providing ‘housing for all’ under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Urbane scheme.
