1.CORPAT b/w India Bangladesh Navies

•  India and Bangladesh Navies have agreed to institute Coordinated Patrol (CORPAT) as annual event which helps to keep Bay of Bengal safe and secure commercial shipping and trade.
• It helps to enhance the operational interaction between both India and Bangladesh Navies.
• Indian Navy regularly conducts CORPAT between Myanmar, Thailand and Indonesia.

2.The World Food Prize 2018 

The 2018 World Food Prize was awarded to Lawrence Haddad and Dr. David Nabarro for the effect to improve the availability of nutritious food to pregnant women and reduce the malnutrition among children in developing countries.

3.UZHAVAN Mobile App. 

• SKOCH silver award bagged by Tamil Nadu government’s UZHAVAN mobile app.
• The App introduced by Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami on April ‘2018.
• The App will provide information about agricultural operation and access to 9 types of services including details of insurance.
• It includes weather update, subsidies available for various schemes including seeds, nursery, beehives, and more

4.Praggnanandhaa 2^nd  youngest Grand master. 

Praggnanandhaa from Tamil Nadu has become world’s 2^nd youngest Grand master at Fourth International Chess Festival ad Gredine Open at Ortisei, Italy.

5.Driving Ban Ends for Saudi Women. 

Women of Saudi Arabia are now legally able to drive car themselves .
