1.Jaitapur
Nuclear reactor.
- France’s EDF and GE jointly to build 6 reactors for the Jaitapur Nuclear Reactor in Maharashtra.
- Once all the 6 reactors gets complete, Jaitapur Nuclear reactor will become World’s largest nuclear Reactor.
2.India gifted
aircraft to Seychelles.
India
has gifted a Domier maritime patrol Aricraft to Seychelles, which will helps
Seychelles in surveillance.
3.TN
Assembly no to Dam Safety Bill
- Tamil Nadu legislative assembly has passed a special resolution to say no to Dam Safety bill introduced by central Government.
- The State Government feels that certain clauses of the bill will protect the State’s rights to control and maintenance of dams located in neighbouring states.
Dam
Safety Bill:
- Dam Safety Bill which will help State and Union Territories to adopt uniform safety procedure to safeguard the reservoirs.
- The bill seeks to establish National Dam Safety authority as a regulatory body which shall discharge function to implement the policies and recommend guidelines for the safety of the Dam.
- It further ensures the proper surveillance, inspection, operation and maintenance of all dams and ensure its safety across the country.

City.
