1.Maitree 2018 

India Thailand Joint Military Exercise Maitree 2018 to be conducted in Thailand.

2.RISECREEK Microprocessor 

Scientist and a student team have developed the Microprocessor named RISECREEK, which is produced under project Shakti.

3.Criminal Law (Amendment) Bill, 2018 

The Parliament has passed the Criminal Law (AMednment) Bill 2018, which ensures stringent punishment for those convicted of raping girls below the age of 12 years.

4.SC/ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Amendment Bill, 2018 

Lokh Sabha Passed Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Amendment Bill, 2018,  which seeks to overturn a Supreme Court order concerning certain safeguards against arrest under SC/ST law.

5.World’s First Thermal Battery Plant. 

• Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu inaugurated world’s first thermal battery plant in Amravati, Andhra Pradesh.
• The aim of the Thermal Plant is to boost up renewable energy.

6.Jatyu Nature Park. 

Jatyu Nature Park has unveiled world’s largest Birds Sculpture , replica of bird Jatyu (Character in Ramayana) in Kollam, Kerala.

7.XINGKONG-2 

China successfully test fired world’s first hypersonic aircraft called XINGKONG-2 or Starry sky - 2 which capable of firing nuclear warheads.
