TNPSC Group 1 2014 Expected Cut off Marks 

TNPSC - Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission has conducted TNPSC Group 1 Combined Civil Services Exam 2014 on 20th July 2014 under the new TNPSC Group 1 Syllabus 2014. The number of  TNPSC Group 1 Posts as per the notification is 79. Nearly 1.65 lakhs of candidates have applied for the upcoming TNPSC Group 1 Preliminary Examinations and only around 45% have appeared (Only 73,173 Candidates have appeared for the TNPSC Group 1 2014 Exam). TNPSC Group 1 Prelims Previous Year Cut off Marks

The official cut off marks for the previous year TNPSC Group 1 2013 Preliminary Exam is not yet published. Based on news gathered from the candidates those who are admitted to the written exam, the minimum cut off mark (the number of questions correct out of 200) required to clear preliminary exam is around 125(+/-) marks SAFE ZONE.

• Overall the question paper is Easy one not much critical Questions.

• Nearly 35 - 40 Questions were directly related to Current Affairs. Those who have prepared the current affairs well will be having an edge on others.

• Nearly 45 Questions in the Aptitude section are very easy. So above 40 is a good mark in aptitude Section.

• 31 Questions from Indian Polity [Including some current affairs] 

• 25 Questions from Indian History

• Those who got around 110 +/-  Please start preparation for TNPSC Mains. Even if you miss to clear prelims this time by 1 or 2 marks don't worry, whatever you read will surely help you in some other exam.
