• It was launched by the central government for the benefit of pensioners.
• Under this scheme Aadhar Based Digital life certificate will be created.
• This digital life certificate will replace the existing physical life certificate submission. 
• Kisan Vikas patra
• It is an investment scheme relaunched by the central government.
• Under this scheme the investors can invest amount in denominations of Rs 1000, Rs 5000 and Rs 50000 without any upper ceiling limit and no tax benefits.
• The amount will double in 100 months that is 8 years and 4 months with a lock in period of 2 years and 6 months (30 months).
• Rajasthan government has planned to introduce self attestation of documents while dealing with government agencies from January 1, 2015.

• Dosti XII 
• It is a joint trilateral coast guard exercise among India, Maldives and Srilanka. 
• The 12th edition of Dosti exercise (4 days) concluded on 31st October 2014
• The 'Dosti' operation between India and Maldives started in the year 1991. Srilanka Joined the team in the year 2012.

• A joint military exercise between India and Srilanka conducted near colombo.
